It's time to cancel money

One of the things from the film Anora that has stuck in my mind is the tragedy of Ivan. It's a small part of the story, it doesn't matter as much as anything Anora says and does, but still, I keep thinking about it. He is an example of how extreme wealth discrepancy isn't good for anyone — not the people who have too much, not the people who don't have enough. [SPOILERS IN A FOOTNOTE]

A while ago I saw a post somewhere on the internet about friction in creative processes, and how much technological advancement has removed that friction. They talked specifically about film editing, claiming that editors who learned their craft on film have better instincts than those who learned entirely with digital formats.
