What weird shit have you watched recently: part one

You know when you were a kid and there was a general ruckus around, like a lot of kids being wee nightmares, and an adult kind of notices but mostly doesn't? Like they're aware the kids are Up To Something and they've heard you, you specifically, say shit and that's a level of Something they feel equipped to deal with, so they say, hey, don't swear, to you, you specifically, you alone.

Meanwhile, two feet behind you someone's shaving a cat?

That's what it feels like to be alive right now.

I don't really know how to deal with that, and I don't think anyone else does either. I'm not sure I have anything to offer, I'm not sure anyone would take it if I did.

So the one thing I am trying to take better control of this year, is what I put into my brain. I'm trying to direct my mind with intention more often than not. I want to be watching and reading smaller, weirder things.

In view of this, I thought I'd start a ramshackle series called What weird shit have you watched recently. It may also sometimes include books and music and whatever, but it's already fairly cumbersome a title, and I do watch a lot of things.
